Whenever I find an interesting animal skull on display in a shop or a museum, if I can document it in my sketchbook, I will. I saw this dog skull in a display of different small animal skulls while visiting an educational pavillion at open house day at the local lemur rescue. A local lemur rescue? Yes, I'm that lucky!
The original dog skull drawing is made with india ink, sable fur brushes, and a dip pen. It will always firmly live in my book, but I can share it with you now as a digitally printed reproduction from a scan. This print is not archival and measures 11" wide by 14" tall.
